Internet Growth follows Moore’s Law – Double every 5.32 years

(PhysOrg.com) — Originally, Moore’s Law described the number of transistors that can fit on an integrated circuit, which doubles approximately every 18 months. Now, a team of researchers from China has discovered that Moore’s Law can also describe the growth of the Internet. In a recent study, the researchers have predicted that the Internet will double in size every 5.32 years.

Social Network format for development – NicheBoard.com

We recently launched http://www.NicheBoard.com, a social network site for jobseekers, employers and recruiters as a sister site to http://www.NicheJobs.com network.

The idea is to use social networking to get employment and in this case find niche jobs. We want to see how this works and so far its too early to tell.

The idea is eventually to be as focussed as possible…and social networking formats are one way to go. Ning is a provider of such a website format and have seen other sites run on this platform…
